
Cheer takes 2nd at Tiger Invite
Georgetown Cheer kicked off its 2025 competition season by hosting the annual Tiger Invite at Davis-Reid Alumni Gym on Saturday. Despite a strong performance, the Tigers finished runner-up to Cumberlands.
Georgetown kicked off the opening round with an impressive routine and strong technical ability to earn a score of 86.37. Cumberlands took the floor minutes later and took the execution to another level, finishing the round with a tally of 92.36 to easily win round 1. Cumberland finished 3rd, followed by Brescia and Lindsey Wilson.
In between rounds, Georgetown took time to honor seniors Kerrigan Medley and Kennedy Boots for their 4 years of hard work and dedication to the program. The Tigers also performed their game day routine that they competed with at UCA Nationals last week.
The Tigers chose not to compete in round 2, which Cumberlands won easily with a score of 89.78.

The next scheduled competition for Georgetown is on February 15th when the Tigers travel to Campbellsville for the CU Classic.
