Hirose leads 2nd straight MSC sweep

Carrying the momentum of the Shawnee State sweep 5 days earlier, Georgetown used the time off to sharpen the skillset even more in a dominating 7-0 win over Thomas More.

Tsugunosuke Hirose proved to be the catalyst on this day at the Lackey Tennis Center. Hirose won in 2nd doubles, with Parker Clarke, 6-0. Hirose liked the idea of not allowing a point so much that he did it again in 4th singles, winning 6-0, 6-0.

The Tigers clinched the doubles point thanks to a 6-0 win from Stephen Taylor and Leo Schirmer in 3rd doubles. The #1 doubles went to the Saints via a 6-4 win over Maxcene Barriere and Chase Hechemy.

Barriere would rebound in singles with a 3-set win to keep the momentum with Georgetown. Schirmer and Clarke would also need 3-sets each but came away with wins. Logan Smallwood and Stephen Taylor wrapped up the sweep with wins of 6-1, 6-1, and 6-1, 6-2, respectively.
