Testimonials

When I was a senior in high school and in the pursuit of finding a college that was right for me, I looked for a school that could meet my academic needs as well as fulfill my dream of playing soccer at the college level. Georgetown College far exceeded my expectations. Over my four years at Georgetown, I have received an outstanding education from teachers and professors who knew me on a personal level. I have also had the opportunity to be a part of a growing soccer tradition. The women's soccer program at Georgetown College is very strong and is improving every year. I feel very lucky to have played for such a tremendous team and I know their success will continue because of the great players they have returning.

As I look back as a senior, I know I could not have made a better decision than to attend Georgetown College. Maybe Georgetown would be right for you. I encourage you to take a close look at what Georgetown College has to offer.

When choosing a college, many aspects played a role in my decision. In high school, I was fortunate to play on a successful team at Louisville Male High School, where I concluded my high school soccer career with Back-to-Back State Championships. When I began looking at colleges, I wanted to attend one where I could continue playing soccer at a successful level in an atmosphere where I could enjoy all aspects of college life. I have found that at Georgetown College. Academically and athletically I have found Georgetown very challenging while very rewarding socially and personally, I have built strong relationships with my teammates, sorority sisters, and other college friends, and have learned from and been supported by my professors and coaches. Even though I am having to work very hard to come back from an ACL injury, I am excited about the prospects of a great senior year. I look forward to a preseason trip to Holland and England, a very challenging schedule including the Defending National Champions, solid returning players and some outstanding new Freshman. If you are looking for a small, Liberal Arts college that will challenge you academically and a soccer program that will give you an opportunity to develop your full potential, Georgetown is worth considering.

Hey, I am writing this to tell you a little bit about Georgetown College and about Georgetown College Soccer, When I was searching for the right college to attend, I was looking for a small campus with a good atmosphere. A place where I could form close relationships, and get to know the people around me. Lastly, a place where I could cut loose and have some fun. I found that Georgetown had all of these things. In choosing Georgetown, soccer also played a big part. I think the best thing about our team is that we are all different people, but we are still a very close team that always has a good time. To me they are my family here at school. During practice we work hard and get things done, but we always have fun doing it. I know that there will be great success in the future for the Georgetown College Women's Soccer team, and I will be proud to be apart of it! You can be a part of it to if you want to be...

I came to Georgetown because it had a good academic reputation and I new it would be changeling. When I went to visit, the atmosphere was extremely friendly. I felt welcomed and comfortable as a player when I went and participated in a training session with the team. After two years, the things that keep me at Georgetown are the friendships and the strong bond with the soccer tearn.

I decided to attend Georgetown College for both athletic and academic reasons. I feel Georgetown has prepared me academically for a career and/or graduate school. I like the small college atmosphere at Georgetown. Soccer has been a big part of my college life. The one thing that I can best describe Georgetown Women's Soccer is our team unity. We each work hard and understand that I team's success depend on the effort of each member, We have a great time playing together and have developed strong friendships on and off the field. As a student/athlete, attending Georgetown has been both challenging and enjoyable.
