Athletics has 303 make AD Honor Roll

Georgetown College student-athletes continued to show excellence in the classroom during the fall 2024 semester.

303 Tigers were named to the Athletic Director Honor Roll, which recognizes student-athletes carrying a grade point average of 3.0 or better. Of those, 121 were named to the Georgetown College Dean's List and 39 finished the fall with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

As a department, Georgetown Athletics carried a cumulative grade point average of 3.09 for the fall 2024 semester, with 14 teams earning at least a 3.0.

Women's Tennis led the way with a team GPA of 3.60, followed by Women's Golf (3.55), Women's Basketball (3.52), Women's Volleyball (3.43) and Women's Track & Field (3.37) to round out the top 5.

Women's Basketball had 11 of 12 student-athletes make the honor roll. Men's Tennis had 9 of 10 with Women's Tennis putting 7 of 8 on the honor roll.

Football had the most student-athletes on the honor roll with 91, followed by baseball with 39, men's soccer with 25, cheerleading with 20, and softball and women's soccer with 16 each.
