The shortstop tagged a double down left field line to score Cano and Schab. This put GC up 3-0 when the at the time insurance run became the winning run. Granillo put a ball deep in the hole at second. Austin Thomas was able to make a solid defensive play for the out, but made it easy for Bumgarner to score from third.

GC added a run in the sixth, two in the seventh and another in the eighth for an 8-0 lead. All were important cushions as the Titans used a couple of hits, a couple of walks and an error to start a rally in their final at bat. The visitors loaded the bases with no outs when a single scored a run.

Keenen Cisneros got back-to-back outs on a strikeout and fly out to seem to have things back in control. He then issued two walks with the bases loaded for an 8-3 score. Cisneros gave way to Nickolas Spencer who got Jeffery Tolbert Jr. to strikeout swinging to end the game.
