Tigers Fall to Phoenix in GM 2

Game two of the series would be the complete opposite of game one. Beau Becker would  get the start and only be able to get out of the second inning. His day would finish with six earned runs on 2 hits, 3 walks, and 3 hit by pitches. Ashton Deskins would come in for the 3rd, and also have some slight command issues, where he was unable to get out of the inning after allowing two runs and three walks. Chris Lenocker would come in to replace him, and be unsuccessful at stopping a potent Phoenix offense. He would give up 10 hits over the next 3.2 innings and five runs scored. Drew Haskell would come into the game down 9 in the 7th, and give up the eventual walk off hit. Becker moves to 2-2 on the year.

The offense did not have much to write home about, as they had only four hits in this one. They would get on the board in the second after an error, to take an early 2-0 lead. In the 3rd, down 6-2, Joshua Duarte would double to lead off the inning, and eventually come around to score on a ground out. That would be all that the Tigers could muster in this one, as they fell to the Phoenix 13-3, and looked to exact revenge in game three of their MSC opening series.
