7th Inning Proves to be Disastorous

In the second game of the doubleheader, it would be one that the Tigers wish they could forget. Things started off good, as the Tigers got on the board early courtesy of a Jose Cazorla homer, giving the Tigers and 1-0 lead in the 2nd. That would be the last lead for the Tigers on the day.

Starting for the Tigers would be Anthony Barrera. Barrera would only go three innings in this one, before leaving the game. Over those three innings, he gave up three runs, only two being earned. Nikayha Castro would come out of the 'pen. Castro would throw up three consecutive zeros for the Tigers, before the 7th inning meltdown. In the 7th, Bethel would scatter 8 hits, leading to 7 runs, extending their lead to 10-2. Jared Casebier would pitch a 1-2-3 8th. The defense would also struggle, as they would have four errors.

Georgetown would get one back in 9th on a sac-fly from Joshua Duarte, making the final score 10-3. The offense would only muster up 5 hits, with all coming from Cazorla and Duarte. The Tigers look to go for the series win tomorrow.
