Cheer leads NAIA with 9 Scholar Athletes

On Wednesday, the NAIA announced the 2022-23 Daktronics NAIA Competitive Cheer Scholar-Athletes from 62 schools nationwide. Georgetown tied with MidAmerica Nazarene for the most representatives in the country with 9.

The Tigers who received the honor are:

Abby Bentley, Kennedy Boots, Tori Bradley, Jacob Clemons, Mallory Creech, Brooke Gantt, Kaia Lanter, Kerrigan Medley, and Sydnie West.

In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
