Cheerleading sweeps Tiger Invite

In its lone home event of 2024, Georgetown Cheerleading dominated the competition and swept both rounds of the 2024 Tiger Invite.

In the opening round, the Tigers kicked off the event with a stellar performance that resulted in minimal deductions and a final score of 89.28. Tennessee Southern turned in a score of 88.23 in the round to threaten but not overtake Georgetown. None of the other 6 teams scored above an 82.

In Round 2, Georgetown again led off and stayed consistent with an 89.08 score to win round 2 by 6.06 points over Pikeville.
