Cheer qualifies for NAIA National Championship

Georgetown Cheer has qualified as an at-large selection for the 2024 NFinity Competitive Cheer National Championship, as announced by the NAIA on Monday.

The Tigers will be making their 4th consecutive appearance in the championship, scheduled to take place from March 29th-30th at the George Gervin GameAbove Center on the campus of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI.

Georgetown's aggregate score as of the announcement is 88.14, placing the Tigers 7th in the NAIA. The squad is coming off its best performance of the year in the Mid-South Conference Championships with a score of 92.04. Regular season and qualifier scores will not be taken into consideration during the championships.

The order of competition for the Preliminary Rounds will be announced on Wednesday, March 20th.
