Ellie Price named NAIA 2nd Team All-American
Ellie Price has been named an NAIA Competitive Cheer 2nd Team All-American, as announced by the NAIA on Thursday.
The qualifications for the award are as follows, per the NAIA: "Competitive Cheer All-Americans are determined by the national championship judges, and each team – First, Second, and Third – is made up, by score, of 18 student-athletes, unless multiple athletes are tied for the 18th spot on a team. Student-Athletes are recorded doing four elements: toe tuck, triple jump combination, jump combination, round off back handspring full twisting layout, and stunts. They are graded on a scale of 1-5 ranging from poor form and technique to superior form and technique."
Price was previously named the 2025 Mid-South Conference Cheerleader of the Year and 1st Team All-MSC. She also earned MSC All-Academic honors.
On the mat, Price led Georgetown to a 10th place finish at Nationals and the program's 4th Mid-South Conference championship in 5 years.
