Georgetown faces Indiana Wesleyan in NAIA FCS Quarterfinals
#4 Georgetown (9-1) will take on #6 Indiana Wesleyan (10-1) in the NAIA Football Championship Series Quarterfinals, as announced by the NAIA on Saturday night. The game will be the first ever meeting between the schools.
The Tigers are fresh off a 42-21 win over #15 Baker in the 2nd round. Indiana Wesleyan held off #10 Morningside, 24-21, in its 2nd round game.
Indiana Wesleyan qualified for the playoffs as the Mid-States Football Association MidEast Champion. It is the Wildcats' 4th all-time appearance in the Football Championship Series, with a record of 3-2. Georgetown reached the playoffs as Mid-South Conference Champions. The Tigers' picked up their 26th all-time playoff win after the triumph of Baker.
The game will be played on Saturday, December 2 at Toyota Stadium in Georgetown, KY, with a kickoff time of 1:00pm ET. Tickets are available here.
