Georgetown hosts Baker for 2nd Round of Playoffs

Georgetown will host Baker University (KS) in the 2nd round of the NAIA Football Championship Series, as announced by the NAIA on Saturday night. Georgetown is the 4-seed in the FCS and qualified as the Mid-South Conference champion.

Baker won its first round game, 55-28 over Louisiana Christian, to improve its record to 9-2. After the completion of the 1st round, the Wildcats are seeded 15th of the 16 teams remaining in the playoffs. Baker qualified for the playoffs as the Heart of America Athletic Conference South Division Champion. Full information about Baker Football can be found here.

It will be the 2nd all-time meeting between the schools. The first meeting came in the opening round of the 2017 playoffs, when Georgetown won at Baker, 36-33. The game will kickoff on Saturday, November 25th at 1:00pm ET at Toyota Stadium in Georgetown, KY. Tickets are currently on sale by clicking here.
