13 Tigers receive MSC All-Conference Honors
The Mid-South Conference announced its 2024 Football All-Conference Awards on Thursday. Georgetown had 13 total players receive either 1st or 2nd Team honors, the most of any team in the MSC.
Leading the way on the 1st team are Darius Neal and Chad Holleran. The pair were named Mid-South Conference Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year. Neal ran for an MSC best 1161 yards and also scored 8 touchdowns. It is his 3rd time receiving all-conference honors. Holleran led the Tigers with 79 tackles and anchored a defense that allowed just 11.5 PPG against MSC opponents. He was named all-conference for the 5th straight season.
Joining them on the 1st team are long snapper Ryan Burke, center Blake Gossett (3x), defensive lineman Jacob Harmon (2x), and defensive back Justin Richardson.
7 Tigers were named to the MSC 2nd team. Dillon Warren was named 2nd team as both a wide receiver and kick returner. Warren led the receiving corps with 25 catches to go with 361 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also averaged 27.4 yards on kick returns, including a 95-yard return for touchdown in Georgetown's 27-10 win at Lindsey Wilson to close the regular season.
Kicker Nate Craft, defensive back Jayson Hayes, offensive lineman Chandler McDonald, defensive back John Carter Myers, tight end Luke Olive, and defensive lineman Romarion Warner also earned 2nd team honors.
