Tigers beat Bears by 20
Chucky Wilson finished the week strong, leading Georgetown College men's basketball to 20-point win over University of Pikeville. The junior had 18 points as the Tigers (12-3, 9-3) beat the Bears (9-9, 7-8) 78-58 Saturday in Davis-Reid Alumni Gym.
He started the week with 28 in a win over another GC rival Thursday. Three other Tigers tallied double-digits – Kyran Jones, 14, Derrin Boyd, 12, and Brodricks Jones, 10.
Jaquay was a point and an assist away from a double-double with nine and nine in each. Kyran Jones had a game-high 12 rebounds.
Brodricks Jones scored the first basket of the game – a three. UPike responded with a two and it was never close again.
Georgetown is back in action 6 pm Monday hosting Freed-Hardeman University.
