Kyran Jones named NAIA 3rd Team All-American

Kyran Jones has been named a NAIA Men's Basketball Third Team All-American, as announced by the NAIA National Office on Monday.

In helping lead Georgetown to the 2nd round of the NAIA Tournament, Jones averaged 11.3 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game. He tallied 11 double-doubles on the season. His efforts helped the Tigers reached the tournament for a record 33rd consecutive season.

Jones closes his career with 1,806 points (16th all-time) and 1,486 rebounds (3rd all-time). He previously received Honorable Mention All-America after the 2020-21 season. He is the first Tiger since Eljay Cowherd (3rd) and Chris Coffey (1st) in the 2019-20 season to receive 3rd team honors or better.
