Men's Basketball gets 6-seed in NAIA Tournament

Georgetown Men's Basketball extended two NAIA records by earning an at-large bid into this year's 64-team field. The Tigers will be making their 43rd appearance all-time and 33rd consecutive. The Tigers earned a 6-seed in the Liston Quadrant and will travel to Sioux City, IA to take on 11-seed Olivet Nazarene on Friday, March 15 at 5:00pm ET.

Georgetown enters the tourney with a 23-7 record while Olivet Nazarene enters with a mark of 22-8. The Tigers hold an all-time record of 12-1 against Olivet Nazarene.

The game is part of a 4-team pod, hosted by Morningside University, who is a 3-seed in the quadrant and will play 14-seed, Lourdes University. The winners of the 1st round games will meet on Saturday, March 16th for the right to go to Kansas City.

The games will be played at the Rosen Verdoorn Sports Center in Sioux City, IA. Directions to the arena can be found here.
