Men's Golf finishes 10th at Music City Invitational

Amidst a difficult course layout and competition, Georgetown Men's Golf finished 10th at the Music City Invitational, played at Twelve Stones Golf Club in Goodletsville, Tennessee.

The Tigers shot a total team score of 974 over the 2-day, 3-round tournament that featured competition from a number of Mid-South Conference schools and other schools from the Southeast. Lindsey Wilson won the tournament by 20 strokes over 2nd place Campbellsville.

Steele Paden led the Tigers throughout the event, shooting in the 70s in all 3 rounds. He led the team with 6 birdies and 26 pars over the 54-hole event. Jake Damron shot 81, 80, and 82 over the tournament to finish 2nd among the Tiger team competitors. Cole Logsdon improved his round totals by 12 strokes from round 1 to round 3, while Dalton Robertson and Heath Petty rounded out the 5-man team for the Tigers. Sean Mullarkey competed individually and shot a 78 in Round 2 for his best score.

The Tigers will now take the rest of October to prepare for the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament at Bowling Green CC, in Bowling Green, KY. The tourney will take place on October 31st and November 1st.
