Damron finishes 8th, Team finishes 8th at MSC

Jake Damron followed 2 strong rounds of 74 on day 1 with a 73 on day 2 of the MSC Spring Tournament, finishing at +5 for the event and in 8th place on the individual leaderboard. Only 3 players in field finished under par.

As a team, Georgetown finished 8th out of the 12 MSC teams in the 2-day event at Bear Trace.

Steele Paden also turned in a strong round on Tuesday, carding a 74 to move up to 21st place to finish. Cole Logsdon broke through with a 79 to end up with a top-50 finish. Dalton Robertson made a big move on Tuesday by shooting a 75 to finish inside the top-50 as well. Heath Petty went out on day 2 and shot his best round of the tournament.

The team will next be in action on April 24-25 at the Mid-South Conference Postseason Tournament Championship at Bowling Green CC in Bowling Green, KY.
