Zutterman leads Men's Golf at MSC Fall Preview
Carter Zutterman leads Men's Golf after Day 1 of the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview. Day 1 was shortened to 18 holes due to inclement weather around Bowling Green.
The freshman started on the par-5 5th at Bowling Green CC and took a double bogey. Zutterman rebounded with 5 straight pars to get back on track before a bogey on 11, then 3 more pars. He would birdie the par-4 1st and ultimately finish with a score of 77 (+5) to tie for 12th.
Laine Schulten carded 2 birdies in his round, en route to a 78 (+6) to tie for 20th after the first day. Dalton Robertson also put 2 birdies on the board but a string of bogeys to start the round led him to finish at +9 with an 81. Cole Logsdon and Sean Mullarkey rounded out the team with scores of 89 and 91, respectively. Dawson Lamb competed outside the team scoring and shot a 94.
As a team, the Tigers stand in 7th place after Day 1. The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday, starting at 11:00AM ET.
