Tigers hold off Brescia for road win

In a 10 minute span, Georgetown College men's soccer scored twice and defeated Brescia University. The Tigers held on for a 2-1 win in Owensboro, Ky. Wednesday.

Noel Roman scored both goals off assists from Logan Blankenship and Jacob Roberts posted 12 saves with just one goal allowed in 90 minutes.

GC improves to 2-3 in 2018 and is set to finally open at home 2 pm Sunday. The Tigers will host University of Saint Francis at Toyota Stadium.

It is the first meeting with the Cougars.
