Tigers tally seven in seventh straight win

It took just three shots Wednesday for Georgetown College men's soccer team to find the back of the net. For the seventh game of the season, the Tigers (7-0) netted at least six goals, averaging nearly eight goals a game.

Luca Zellman took a pass from Logan Sparks in the ninth minute for a 1-0 lead over Ohio Christian University. Zellman then set up the game-winning goal scored by Seba Bocaz Canales. Sparks was the recipient of a solid feed from Noel Roman and before the game was even 20 minutes in, GC led 3-0.

In game seven, looking for win seven, it was 7-1 on the scoreboard when the dust settled. It was seven different players finding the back of the net. Christopher Gschwent answered the Trailblazers lone goal and made it 4-1 at the break. Roman set up Jake McKettrick to start the second half and scored the next goal for a 6-1 lead.

Micheal Devlin finished it off in the 67th minute with an unassisted goal.

Georgetown is back in action 2 pm Saturday at Asbury University.
