Georgetown College men's soccer showed the flare of offense it was making a staple of the program a year ago Saturday in a 5-0 win over Trinity Christian College. Most NAIA soccer teams sat idle in the fall, everyone was ready to go as 2021 got underway.
Seba Bocaz-Canales continues to be an offensive machine – scoring the winning-goal against the Trolls (0-2) and adding two assists for good measure.
Luca Perrin sent the ball up to Ben Halewood who slipped it to Bocaz-Canales for the only offense GC needed. The Tigers added two more goals – Luca Zellman and Donat Juhasz – for a comfortable lead at the break. Jake McKettrick and Juhasz finished off the scoring in the second half.
Zellman and McKettrick joined Bocaz-Canalas in the stat sheet with at least a goal and an assist. Halewood had two assists. Adam Hegedus also got into the box score with an assist.
The Tigers are back in action 2 pm Feb. 14 hosting Thomas More University.
