Men's Soccer vs St. Mary of the Woods suspended

The Georgetown men's soccer match on Tuesday at St. Mary of the Woods was delayed nearly 90 minutes at the start due to inclement weather in the area. The match was originally scheduled to start at 4:00pm but did not kickoff until almost 5:30pm.

St. Mary of the Woods scored in the 8th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Georgetown dominated most facets of the game, except the scoreboard. The Tigers had more than 10 shots on goal in the first half.

The match was in the 54th minute when weather issues forced a stoppage of the game. Ultimately, the match was declared to be suspended and will be declared a no contest if it is not resumed. Any statistics will be removed if the match does not resume.
