Mouzoune named MSC Freshman of the Year, 2nd Team

Mohammed Mouzoune has been named the Mid-South Conference Men's Soccer Freshman of the Year, as announced by conference officials on Wednesday. He was also named 2nd Team All-MSC.

Mouzoune led the Tigers in scoring with 12 goals and assists with 7 for a total of 31 points. Mouzoune twice scored 2 goals in a game (IU East, 8/30 & IU Columbus, 9/21) and had a single-game high of 2 assists in a 4-0 win at Oakland City on 9/17.

In total, Mouzoune scored in 9 of Georgetown's 17 matches on the season to lead the Tigers to a 2024 record of 8-7-2 under first year head coach John Manga.
