Steiner named MSC Defensive Player of the Week

Goalkeeper Lukas Steiner has been named the Mid-South Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by conference officials on Monday.

In wins over Oakland City and IU Columbus, the freshman stopped all 14 shots he faced (6 vs Oakland City; 8 vs IU Columbus).

It is his first career weekly award.

Steiner and the Tigers kickoff Mid-South Conference play on Friday afternoon against Cumberland (TN). Kickoff from Toyota Stadium is set for 2:00pm.
