Tigers fall to Knights in home opener

Cole Wilson and Parker Clarke helped Georgetown College men's tennis pick up a win in doubles, while Wilson scored the lone point in the home opener from the top singles spot.

Marian University won the second doubles spot, edging out Jackson Jacobi and Logan Smallwood. Then took the point by default with no one to play in three doubles.

Wilson was strong in singles with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Mesa. The junior has yet to loss doubles or singles this year.

Smallwood made Dimitri Voshchenkov battle at the four singles. He lost set one 6-1, but hung tight in set two before losing it 7-6.

The Tigers are back in action 1 pm Sunday hosting Indiana University East.
