Barriere leads win over UT-Southern

Max Barriere picked up two impressive wins to lead Georgetown over UT-Southern, 4-3, in early season action. Barriere won his doubles match alongside Chase Hechemy by a 6-3 final. He also won a tough match in top singles action, 7-6, 7-5.

The Tigers would drop their other 2 doubles contests, giving the team point to UTS. They would rebound in singles action. Tsugunosuke Hirose won a 3-set thriller in #3 singles, going 10-6 in the 3rd to take the team point. Stephen Taylor and Matthew Smith proved to be the difference in singles action as they each won in straight sets to give Georgetown the overall win.

The Tigers will take on Cumberlands later today to continue the Mid-South Fall Preview.
