Barriere picks up lone GC win in loss to Cumberlands
Georgetown took on Cumberlands in the 2nd half of the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview. The Patriots were too strong on this day, knocking off the Tigers by a 6-1 team score final.
Maxcene Barriere picked up the lone win for Georgetown as he won in #1 singles action by a 6-2, 6-3 result. He partnered with Tsugunosuke Hirose in top doubles action, but the pair were beaten, 0-6.
Parker Clarke and Leo Schirmer won their doubles match, 6-4, but the Tigers were unable to pick up the team point as the 3rd team of Andrew Kennedy and Logan Smallwood dropped a tough one, 4-6.
Outside of Barriere's win in singles, the Tigers were beaten in straight sets in the other singles matches on the day.
