Men's Tennis swept by Bears

Georgetown got back into MSC play on Thursday with a road trip to Pikeville. The road proved to be unkind to the Tigers as they were swept by the Bears.

Georgetown started the day strong with a 6-3 doubles win from Maxcene Barriere and Chase Hechemy. The Bears would take over from there, winning the final 2 doubles matches, 6-1 and 6-2, to claim the doubles point.

In singles action, Parker Clarke and Tsugunosuke Hirose each went 3 sets but came up short. The Bears won the other 4 singles matches in straight sets.

The Tigers will stay on the road and look to flip the momentum as they head to Freed-Hardeman on Saturday.
