Patriots sweep Tigers

Cumberlands took down Georgetown, 7-0, in the penultimate regular season match of the year for the Tigers.

Georgetown switched up the usual doubles tandems looking for an advantage against the Patriots. Head Coach Michael Cunningham put Maxcene Barriere with Parker Clarke on this day as the top doubles team. The move was nearly rewarded, but the Patriots won the match, 7-6. Barriere's usual doubles partner, Chase Hechemy, played with Andrew Kennedy on this day, but they were bested, 6-1.

Parker Clarke nearly pulled out a point for GC in singles action. He went to a 3rd set in his match, but was bested 10-6. Leo Schirmer nearly pushed his match to a 3rd set, but fell in the 2nd, 7-6.

The Tigers will close out the regular season at Campbellsville on Saturday, April 15th.
