3 Men's Volleyball Tigers earn AVCA Honors

3 Men's Volleyball Tigers have garnered a national honor for their outstanding play on the court during the 2024 season.

The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has released its 2024 NAIA All-American teams.

Ryan Gunn has been named a 1st Team AVCA All-American after being named the Mid-South Conference Player of the Year. It marks the 3rd straight year for Gunn earning AVCA All-American honors. He ranks in the top 10 of the NAIA in kills per set (3.96) and hitting percentage (.351).

Tyree Wesley earned 2nd Team AVCA All-American honors and Krzysztof Kowalski received Honorable Mention accolades. Wesley enters the NAIA Tournament ranked 11th in the NAIA with 22 solo blocks and is hitting .442 on offense. Kowalski ranks 2nd on the Tigers with 264 kills and is 3rd with 29 aces. He also has 50 total blocks.

The selections were made by a committee of eight NAIA Men's Volleyball coaches.
