Heinemann, Gunn, Bride sweep weekly MSC Awards

Georgetown Men's Volleyball swept the week's Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Awards, as announced by conference officials on Monday.

Finn Heinemann earned Setter of the Week honors for the 2nd time this season and 3rd time overall. The junior tallied 66 assists in 2 Tiger sweeps over Lawrence Tech and Brescia. He averaged 11 assists per set.

Ryan Gunn was named Attacker of the Week for the 3rd time in 7 weeks and the 7th time in his career. Gunn totaled 25 kills and hit a staggering .513% in the wins over Lawrence Tech and Brescia.

CJ Bride picks up Defender of the Week for the 1st time in his career after a week in each he racked up 30 digs, averaging 5 per set.

The trio next lead the Tigers into a tri-match on Saturday at Siena Heights (MI) and against Olivet Nazarene. The Siena Heights match starts at 10:00am with the Olivet Nazarene match following immediately afterwards.
