13 Tiger runners named NAIA Scholar Athletes

The NAIA has released the 2022 Daktronics Cross-Country Scholar-Athletes list. Georgetown had 8 women's student-athletes and 5 men named to the list, the most of any school in the Mid-South Conference.

The following women were named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes:

India Pugh, Kate Reese, Katie Milby, Kirstin Thomas, Liz Martin, Rachel Puckett, Sarah Bailey, and Virginia White

The following men were named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes:

Ben Kinsey, Ike Madding, Nick Clark, Sam Peoples, and Wyatt Gatewood

The full 2022 list features 467 student-athletes that achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA at their institution. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said-institution.
