Men's XC finishes 15th at Angel Mounds Invite

Competing against over 10 NCAA schools, Men's Cross Country finished 15th out of 19 complete teams at the Angel Mounds Invitational on Friday, in Evansville, IN. The Tigers were 1 of just 5 NAIA schools in the event.

Elijah Walters was the 1st Tiger across the line with a time of 27:56, which was good for 73rd out of a field of 174 runners. Will Stanko & Nick Clark crossed the line with exact times of 28:19.4 to finish 81st. Trevor Baker was next across in a time of 28:36. Sam Peoples came home in a time of 30:37, and Harrison Booher crossed with a 34:12.

The team's next event is the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, MI, on Saturday, October 21st. It serves as the final tuneup before the Mid-South Conference Championships in early November.
