Softball draws 4-seed for MSC Tourney

After winning 2 of 3 against Bethel in the regular season finale, Georgetown Softball has earned the 4-seed for the upcoming Mid-South Conference Tournament, as announced by conference officials on Saturday.

Georgetown begins play in the double-elimination tournament on Thursday, May 2nd, against Lindsey Wilson at 12:00pm ET. The Tigers took 3 of 4 from the Blue Raiders in the regular season. The winner advances to take on top-seed Cumberlands at 5:00pm ET on Thursday.

The winner's bracket final is scheduled for 5:00pm ET on Friday. The elimination bracket final will start on Saturday at 2:00pm ET. The championship game is slated to start at 4:30pm ET on Saturday. If a 3rd game is necessary for the final, it will take place on Sunday, May 5th at 1:00pm ET.

The entirety of the tournament will be played at South Warren HS in Bowling Green, KY. The champion receives an automatic berth into the NAIA Tournament.
