Williams grabs 500th rebound

Georgetown College women's basketball hung tough in the first 20 minutes against No. 16 Lindsey Wilson College. The Tigers (3-10, 2-9) were down only four on the road, but a strong start to the second half allowed the Blue Raiders (16-4, 11-4) to take control.

LWC used a 16-9 run out of the locker room for a double digit lead it never surrendered again.

Just 38 seconds into the second quarter, Raegan Williams with her second rebound of the game eclipsed the 500-milestone mark.

Fellow senior Whitney O'Mara came up big off the bench with a team-high 18 points, while Grace White was big on the glass with 10 rebounds.

Georgetown is back in action 5:30 pm Monday hosting Campbellsville University.
