Fresh off being named the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week, AJ Stevenson kept her strong play going as she scored 23 points to lead Georgetown to an 85-30 win over Wilberforce, moving the Tigers to 15-1 to close out non-conference play.
In a game in which Georgetown was never threatened, Stevenson shot 9-12 from the floor and 4-6 from 3-point range in 30 minutes of action. In her last 6 games since moving into the starting lineup, Stevenson is averaging 17 points per game and shooting 39% from beyond the arc.
Like Stevenson, Erin Toller knocked down 4 threes in the game en route to a 20-point night. It was the 5th game of 20+ points for Toller and 2nd in a row. Izzy Lamparty continues to play well as she scored 16 while grabbing 6 boards and 2 steals in 22 minutes.
Georgetown's defense played strong all day, limiting the Bulldogs to just 35% from the floor and 2-10 from 3-point range.
