Klock answered again inside to give Georgetown a 30-18 lead with 6:31 to go in the 2nd. Sophie Smith followed with another 3 at the midway point to extend the lead back to 12. The teams traded buckets the rest of the way with the Harriers cutting the margin to 41-32 at halftime.

Georgetown came out strong to start the 3rd quarter. In 2:45 time, the Tigers went on an 11-2 spurt to take a 52-34 lead and force the Harriers to another timeout. Georgetown then went scoreless for nearly 3 minutes, allowing Miami-Hamilton to shave 6 points off the lead. A late Anna Long layup put an end to a 3rd quarter that saw Georgetown shoot just 39% with 6 turnovers. The Tiger lead stood at 57-47 going to the 4th.

Teionni McDaniel started the 4th with a three on the opening possession for a 13-point lead. Izzy Lamparty followed shortly with a personal 5-0 run to give Georgetown a 66-52 lead with 7:46 to play. After a Harrier bucket, McDaniel nailed another 3 and was followed by a Callie Jackson lay-up. The spurt gave Georgetown a 71-54 lead with 6:33 to play.
