After a tight 1st quarter, Georgetown led Marian for most of the 2nd and all of the 3rd quarters before the Knights outscored the Tigers, 5-2, in the 4th to steal a 12-11 win.

Marian raced out to a 3-0 lead in the 1st before Mac Miller got the scoring going for the Tigers. Miller scored off a Maddie Brock assist and a free position shot just 70 seconds apart to get GC within 3-2 after 1.

The Tigers used the momentum and came out roaring in the 2nd. Faith Boa scored 2 goals in less than 2 minutes, followed by a 3rd goal from Miller. The last 2 came from Maddie Brock again and gave the orange & black a 5-3 lead midway through the 2nd. Faith Boa scored again at the 8:59 mark of the 3rd off a free position shot to push the lead back to 2. After a Marian answer, Miller and Boa each found the net again, giving the Tigers their largest lead at 9-6. Marian would score with just 18 seconds left in the 3rd, taking momentum to the 4th.
