Lacrosse puts 4 on All-AAC Teams

4 Georgetown Tigers have earned All-Conference honors, as announced by the Appalachian Athletic Conference on Thursday night.

Madison Haney earned 1st Team honors after leading the conference with 197 saves and a save percentage of 46.6, which was good for #2. She also finished 4th in goals-against average and 5th in total ground balls.

Maggie Byrd earned 2nd Team honors as a defender. Byrd finished 9th in the AAC with 42 ground balls and 23 caused turnovers.

Madison Diaz drew 2nd Team honors as the AAC leader in caused turnovers (40). She ranks 2nd in draw controls (111) and 10th in goals (37).

Katerina Gilbert was also named to the 2nd Team. She ranks 4th in the AAC with 47 goals and 5th in total points (63).
