Red Wolves had Tigers a narrow set back

A goal in each half set up by Dejhanna O'Bryant proved to be the difference in Georgetown College women's soccer game Thursday with Indiana University East.

The Tigers (3-3) pushed the attack and got off more shots – 15 to 13, but failed to find the back of the net. The Red Wolves (3-1) managed to get eight shots on frame, scoring twice in a 2-0 win in Richmond, Ind.

Olivia Ashby led GC in shots on frame with two, while Grace Whalen, Josey Sobolewski, Maggie Vanluit and Libby Miller each had one. Megan Martin played the full 90 in goal with six saves.

Georgetown is back in action 7 pm Wednesday against another Indiana team in Taylor University. These two have played in some great battles as this non-conference rivalry builds and this one in Upland in less than a week should be another classic game.
