Thompson wins 3rd Player of the Week Award

Daysia Thompson has been named the Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by conference officials on Monday.

In 2 matches last week, Thompson stopped 13 out of 14 shots faced. 7 saves came in a 4-1 win over Midway last Wednesday. She stopped all 6 shots faced in a scoreless draw against Asbury on Saturday night.

It marks the 3rd time in 4 weeks that Thompson has won the award.

Thompson and the Tigers kickoff Mid-South Conference play on Friday afternoon against Cumberland (TN). Kickoff from Toyota Stadium is set for Noon.
