Thompson wins 4th Player of the Week Award

For the 4th time in 2024, Daysia Thompson has been named the Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by conference officials on Monday.

In Georgetown's 3-0 win at Freed-Hardeman on Saturday, Thompson recorded 7 saves to preserve the Tigers' 1st conference win of the season. It is her 6th clean sheet of the year.

The 4th honor is also the most of any defensive player in the Mid-South Conference.
