Tennis wraps up Hilton Head trip

Women's tennis concluded its 3-day trip to Hilton Head, SC with a matchup against Coastal Georgia. The competition proved strong as Georgetown fell, 7-0.

Bailee Martin and Emma Hill fell 2-6 in #1 doubles action. In #3 doubles, Maddie Gill and Hana Dixon came up short, 3-6. The 2nd doubles team of Samantha Spady and Lydia Prince were able to gut out a 7-5 win, but that result was not counted towards the team scores.

All singles action saw Coastal Georgia win in straight sets. Emma Hill nearly pulled off an opening set win in 2nd singles action, but fell 5-7 before dropping set 2, 1-6.

The Tigers return home next week and get into MSC play with a matchup against Lindsey Wilson at the Lackey Tennis Center, starting at 2:00pm, on Wednesday, March 22nd.
