After a dropping the first 2 doubles matches of the day, the tandem of Bailee Martin and Samantha Spady picked up a critical point in a 8-5 win before moving to singles.

Hill took the first set 6-4 and nearly swept the match, but Herring fought to a 7-6 2nd set win, sending the entire day to one final set.
