Women's Tennis swept in MSC Quarters

Georgetown Women's Tennis fell in the Mid-South Conference Quarterfinals, 4-0, against #23 Cumberlands on Thursday in Bowling Green, KY.

Cumberlands took the opening point in doubles against the Tiger tandem of Anna White & Emma Hill with a 6-0 win. Lydia Prince and Maddie Gill fell in their doubles match, 4-6. With the doubles point clinched for Cumberlands, the #1 doubles match featuring Bailee Martin and Sam Spady was abandoned with the set tied at 4.

In singles action, Sam Spady fell in straight sets as did Lydia Prince, both by 1-6, 0-6 finals. Emma Hill fell in straight sets in #3 singles to clinch the match victory for Cumberlands. Bailee Martin was leading her match in #1 singles, 6-2, 3-2 when it was abandoned. Maddie Gill was ahead in #4 singles 6-2, 3-3 when the day was called. Abby Moss was nearing the end of her first set in #6 singles at the time of the team match completion.
