Bolton, Geary lead Tigers to 3rd place finish in Cedarville

Georgetown finished 3rd out of 13 teams competing in the Cedarville Collegiate Open on Friday.

Sarah Bolton showed her talents across multiple disciplines. She won the long jump with a distance of 5.36 meters, won the 5K race by 40 seconds over teammate Clare Wilber, who finished 2nd. Bolton also ran the 60-meter hurdles in 9.49 seconds to take 2nd place. She also finished 2nd in the 4x200 race, alongside Libby Miller, Esther Bradshaw, and Rebekah Clark. Bolton then took her talents to the field where she finished 16th in the shot put with a distance of 8.65 meters.

Libby Miller also finished 5th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.98 seconds. Tori Freeman finished 12th in the weight throw with a distance of 10.46 meters.

The Tigers next head to Cincinnati on February 11th to compete in the Mount St. Joseph Invitational.
