3 school records, 3 event wins cap strong day at MSJ Invite

Georgetown Women's Indoor Track & Field put on a stellar show at the Mount St. Joe's Invite in Cincinnati on Saturday. The Tigers finished 3rd out of 13 in the team competition.

Sarah Bolton continues to dominate as she set a new Georgetown record in the pentathlon with 3273 points. She also won the Long Jump (5.28m) and High Jump (1.60m) events and placed first in the 60 meter hurdle heats, but did not run in the finals.

Esther Bradshaw set a new school record in the 600-meter race with a time of 1:44.71, while Kirsten Geary broke the school's 3K record with a time of 11:14.55.

The Tigers also picked up an event win in the 60-meter dash thanks to Libby Miller and a time of 7.82 seconds. Miller also finished 2nd in the 200-meter race with a 27.56 time.

Isabel Wilber came in third in the 5K, while Sarah Bailey finished 8th in the 1 mile run and Rebekah Clark finished 9th in the 400-meter race.
