Women's T&F wins Asbury Open

Women's Outdoor T&F took home 1st place at the Asbury Open on Wednesday, beating Asbury and Alice Lloyd, with a final total of 72 team points, beating Asbury by 15.

Jenna Tipton won the 400m race with a final time of 1:09.34, winning the race by almost 8 seconds. Libby Miller carried the 100m event, clocking in at 12.63. She also won the 200m race with a time of 27.05 seconds. Kirsten Geary dominated the 5K, winning the race by 37 seconds over her nearest competitor.

The Tigers carried a podium sweep in the 800m event as Kate Reese, Esther Bradshaw, and Sarah Bailey finished 1-2-3.

In the 4x400 event, Georgetown won over Asbury by almost 8 seconds. The team of Esther Bradshaw, Rebekah Clar, Jenna Tipton, Kate Reese carried the win.

In the field events, Sarah Bolton won the high jump at 1.55m. She also won the long jump by more than 2 feet over the next closest competitor. Bolton also competed in the shot put, finishing 2nd. Tori Freeman finished 2nd in the discus (28.05m).
